• Not meeting the conditions specified in Clause 1, Article 20 of the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit, and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam 2014 (amended 2019).
• Children under 14 years old who are not accompanied by a parent, guardian or authorized person.
• Forging documents and making false declarations to obtain valid entry, exit, or residence documents.
• People with mental illness or infectious diseases pose a danger to public health.
• Deported from Vietnam within 3 years from the effective date of the deportation decision.
• Forced to exit Vietnam within 6 months from the effective date of the decision to exit Vietnam.
• For reasons of disease prevention and control.
• Due to natural disasters.
• For reasons of national defense, security, social order and safety.

For foreigners using electronic visas to enter, they must meet the conditions specified above and enter through international border gates decided by the Government.
